Hi,

I have a problem with maximum time to call, all outgoing calls have to be maximum 2472 seconds and after that call drop down!

Is there some config file with this parameter or what?

Thanks a lot,

vemax

There is a dial parameters in a2billing.conf, please post it. It should be something like this:

dialcommand_param = "|60|HRrL(%timeout%:61000:30000)" or
dialcommand_param = "|60|HRrL(%timeout%:61000:00000)"

Since you didn't know where it is my guess there is something else going on. So make sure and post you a2billing debug logs.

Hi Svetur,

I know for this section in a2billing.conf and I was tried change it from 3600000 to doubles 7200000 but have no any changes, still have maximum call time 41min 20 sec (2480 sec)

Bellow is my parameters from a2billing.conf:

dialcommand_param = "|60|HRrL(%timeout%:61000:30000)"
; by default (3600000 = 1HOUR MAX CALL)
dialcommand_param_sipiax_friend = "|60|HL(3600000:61000:30000)"

We are using IP to IP service, not calling card.
Any idea?

Regards,

Vemax

The debug logs, which Svetur referred to, should indicate which end cleared the call down. I think it's most likely to be your carrier imposing this timeout.

Hello Stavros,

I'm not sure for this.
I was tried with 4 different providers and the result is the same, drop down the call after 41min and 20sec ! every time.
I was heard that must be some parameter in a2billing.php about max_timetocall but cannot find this in a2billing.php file.

any other idea?

Thanks.

OK, so it can't be the carrier. Presumably the customers in question had enough credit to fund calls longer than 2480 seconds. The only other timeout imposed by A2B was described earlier by Svetur, and your response shows that too cannot be the cause.

Are you running on bare Asterisk? If you are using one of the distributions which install and pre-configure things like Trixbox, Elastix or simply FreePBX alone my one remaining guess would be that the additions over Asterisk defaults provided by FreePBX, etc could be causing this.

We've still not seen your debug log. It frequently gives strong indications where the problem lies. Set 'debug=3' in a2billing.conf, and at the Asterisk console 'set verbose 15'. If you need to post lengthy logs here please don't paste them into your message; either attach as a .txt file or use a pastebin service.

yes, we are using trixbox.
please take a look on this old post http://forum.asterisk2billing.org/viewtopic.php?p=2524

a2billing.php: line:650 - TIMEOUT::> 2460 : minutes=41 - seconds=0

it seems that others also have a similar situation with timetocall limit

What are a2billing cdrs saying? Do you get correct destinations? i'm thinking maybe there is a problem with ratecards and for some reason you're getting some bizzare timeout. Otherwise it should work, if you have dialing setting correctly in a2billing, a2billing should just do the math and calculate correct timeout.
