Hello,

I install A2billing 1.6.x. Account creation procedure...

1) create trunk on Asterisk ( Send g723 or g729 codec, by default a2billing sends ulaw codec)
2) create call plan and rate card
3) create customer in A2billing and configure sip account with auth. public IP.

now my question is :

if i create one extension in Asterisk and create one customer in a2billing and give account code and context of a2billing. my call is passed with billing in A2billing BUT it is using trunk of A2billing.

NOW if i want to use asterisk' dialplan and Trunk directly then how to do it?????

I mean to say my call goes only for billing purpose in a2billing and rest of the things will handle by Asterisk dialplan and trunks.

You can create trunk in sip.conf in case of asterisk or Add Trunk in case of FreePBX and use it's name instead of Provider IP in A2Billing trunk settings. However, I don't know what you are trying to achieve. Maybe if you explain the need.....

Somewhere on these forums is a post of how someone used the asterisk dialplan and sql statements to connect to the underlying a2billing database, and passed calls without calling a2billing.php. However, it was complex, and removed about 90% of the functionality of A2Billing.

As Bruce asks, what are you actually trying to achieve?
