Is it possible to configure registration so that the SIP/AIX configuration is created with a number other than the Account Number?

Thanks.

Yes it is. Make sure the accountcode is set to the A2Billing account number.

See attached,

The first entry was created during registration, it gave the SIP profile an username that matches the accountcode. The second entry I created using the [add sip config] link.

My desire is for the Account Number (accountcode) to be kept private and just be used for billing/customer identification, not to be used for system connectivity.

Is it the case that the system must always default the username of the first SIP account to the accountcode? Can it be changed so the first SIP account is given an username different from the accountcode?

Thanks!
