here is the thing :

after updating a2b I tryd to login to a2billing and it give s me error : AUTHENTICATION REFUSED, please check your user/password! .
I tryd the defoult passwords : admin/mypassword root/myroot and others but it keeps saying that error, so now I'm looking for a way to get in the system.
I have compleet control of the system, I have also webmin installed, and have shell acces to the mashine, can anybody help me to solve this problem.
maybe I can put new username and password true database editing in webmin, but I dont know how.

If this is a trixbox or freepbx asterisk install, you can use the PHPMyAdmin page, go to the mya2billing database and look for the username/password there.

Good Luck.

Yes thats the 1 thing that I did, but in that database the passwords are hashed, so in stead of seeng normal pass I see many numbersletters , and strange this is that after updating my userinterface I dont have phpMyadmin button anymore, but thats not big problem cause I have webmin, completly installed, and functioning.
so when I get in the database, than I can see the usernames, but no passwords.

OK, I just logged in via webmin, in mysql db, and there I selected mya2billing, but there is nothing inside, I get message : This database has no tables.

have 4 buttons :

create new table, dropdatabase, backupdatabase, execute SQL

thats it, the usernames that I saw with hashes, thats another database, thats asterisk itself.

sofar I understand my a2billing database does not even have users?
what should I do now?

I'm fxxxx hapy, Ok, now its working well, I dont know why it didnot work before but, I just repeated this steps:

mysql -u root -ppassw0rd < a2billing-MYSQL-createdb-user.sql

mysql -u root -ppassw0rd mya2billing < a2billing-mysql-schema-MYSQL.3.X-4.X_v1.2.3.sql

so I think when I killed the old database, and made the new database with this commands then something went wrong, so now I just repeated this commands, and I'v god many other things in my db, and also I can login and use a2b, thanks to all.

I have the same problem after upgrading from 1.33 to 1.4. I have tried all the suggestions but none is working. I can't login even though the password and username is right on mysql.

This is what I get when I try

[root@sip-gw0 ~]# mysql -u root -ppassw0rd < a2billing-MYSQL-createdb-user.sql
-bash: a2billing-MYSQL-createdb-user.sql: No such file or directory

I'm I missing something.

As that file is not in the current directory, you'll have to specify the full pathname to it. This depends on where you downloaded and extracted A2B on your system. You'll find the file in question within the 'DataBase' directory of A2B.

I'm afraid to kill my database, since the real system has live customrs on it. mysql -u root -ppassw0rd < a2billing-MYSQL-createdb-user.sql
mysql -u root -ppassw0rd mya2billing < a2billing-mysql-schema-MYSQL.3.X-4.X_v1.2.3.sql

Why v1.2.3.sql I'm already running 1.3.3.

That's a historical file, of no use to you.

In which case, unless you're very sure of your skills and your ability to overcome problems, you really shouldn't be trying to upgrade a production system to an unreleased version of A2B.
