Hi There:

When I dial the access number it asks for the destination number. There are few things I couldn't make how works. Can anyone please help?

1. If I want to make a second call ending the first call (without terminating the session). I have seen this in some other places where if you during the first call press ## it asks for for the destination number again.

2. Also, I don't want a2billing says the account balance instead just a brand name (e.g welcome to xyzcallingcard) and asks for the destination.

3. How can map/route Local Access number against a destination number, e.g. I (as a customer) want to dial just a local Access number which is mapped/routed to a predefined destination number.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi,

1) The ability to hangup the call without ending the session is a feature of Asterisk not A2B (pressing * key)
You can control that in the Agiconf where you set the parameter for the Dial command

2) This is also controlled in the Agiconf (cehck the IntoroPrompt and other related options)

3) I am not sure if I understood this the right way, but i think what you need is achievable through the Asterisk dial plan before calling the A2B

Hope this helps..
Let me know if you need to discuss more details.
