I like a2billing a lot but I believe development has stopped and it's no longer compatible with new versions of Asterisk.
Anyone know of a good alternative?

I still use a2billing with asterisk 15.7 and it works just fine. I upgraded from 1.4 to 15 because of need of t.38
set your asterisk version to 1_6 and for did destinations use sip/peer/did in place of sip/did@peer.
there is a bug in adding multiple dids at once, so do it 1 by 1.
There is also a bug in monthly did charging. customer may have enough credit, but did gets released; very rarely, but it happens.
Let me know if you need help.

I can recommend CGRates as an alternative. There's a steep learning curve, but it blows A2Billing out of the water.

It's fast, has derivative charging, is well maintained and actively developed. It's not an out of the box, all in one solution like A2Billing though.

You still around for help? This site is now bugged, but if you keep pressing reload it will go away.

I have installed and setup v2.2, but am getting

rejected because extension not found in context 'a2billing'.

I do believe I have set it up correctly, as even the call simulator works fine.
